The 2020 MDX delivers a dynamic driving experience for the standard and Sport Hybrid version. It offers an available A-Spec sport appearance variant and an extensive list of standard premium features and high-tech appointments on all versions including AcuraWatch safety and driver-assistive technologies.

The standard engine, a 3.5-liter aluminum-alloy V6, generates 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The sport hybrid engine, a 3.0-liter V6, produces 257 horsepower and 218 pound-feet of torque.

The 2020 MDX with front-wheel drive has offers an EPA fuel economy rating of 20/27/23 mpg (city/highway/combined).

The Acura MDX features Super Handling All-Wheel Drive technology, which debuted 16 years ago. SH-AWD is based on extensive research into "direct yaw control" and became the world's first torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system.

Acura SH-AWD uses dynamic torque vectoring to provide more accurate and predictable handling performance in all road conditions. Up to 70% of engine torque can be sent to the rear wheels as needed, with up to 100% of that torque apportioned to either the left or right wheels.
