Under the Hood
The 2021 Acura RDX boasts a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine cranking out 272 horsepower. The luxury vehicle is also available with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.
The 16-valve, DOHC VTEC turbo engine is mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. This engine powers both the front-wheel drive RDX and the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive version.
Comfort & Convenience
The 2021 Acura RDX features an expanded panoramic moonroof, which welcomes air and natural light into the vehicle.
Personal and intuitive, Acura’s True Touchpad Interface responds by using absolute positioning wherever it’s touched. Should the driver tap on the upper right corner of the touchpad, it corresponds with the action precisely on the top right of the center display.
Engineered by Grammy award-winning recording producer Elliot Scheiner, the available ELS Studio 3D premium sound system comes with 16 speakers, including four in the headliner.
Safety
Standard on every 2021 Acura RDX is the Integrated Dynamics System, which delivers four dynamic drive modes–Comfort, Snow, Sport and Sport+.
AcuraWatch, the automaker’s suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies comes standard as well. AcuraWatch includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist System, Collision Mitigation Braking System and Road Departure Mitigation.
