Under the Hood
A-Spec model’s fast charging system rates up to 190 kW and allows its 102 kWh battery to deliver a range of 80 miles on a 10 minute charge.
The rapid charging feature ensures the ZDX reduces time spent at charging stations, allowing travelers to get back on the road quickly.
The high-performance Type S is the most powerful Acura ever. It uses a dual AWD motor setup that delivers 500 hp and 544 Ib-ft of torque power.
An optional Adaptive Air Suspension improves aerodynamics and stability on bumpy road surfaces. The system conserves fuel during long journeys by adjusting ride height and allowing drivers to be economical with gas costs.
Comfort and Convenience
An 11-inch gauge cluster display is located in the binnacle of the steering wheel. It is supplemented by a touchscreen infotainment integrated with Google built-in functionalities.
The hi-res screen includes Google Maps for drivers to access real-time traffic updates and avoid traffic jams. Smart Home Integration allows drivers to control devices from the ZDX and turn on lights or put on the air conditioning before arriving home.
A-Spec models come standard with luxurious leather seats and 12-way power adjustment for driving back comfort on long summer journeys. The Type S trim is equipped with 16-way power seat functions complimented with thigh extensions and side bolsters.
Thigh extensions prevent swelling and discomfort caused by extended periods behind the wheel in sweltering heat. Supportive side bolsters cradle the body and reduce lower back strain for a more comfortable driving experience.
Safety
The 2024 ZDX is equipped with the latest AcuraWatch suite of robust safety and driver-supported technologies.
Features:
- Lane Departure Warning: Alerts drivers that unintentionally drift out of lane from distractions or fatigue.
- Road Departure Mitigation: Keeps the vehicle under control in unpredictable weather conditions including rain or fog.
- Adaptive Cruise Control: Maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead in slow traffic.
- Blind Zone Steering Assist: Provides steering assistance for obstacles in blind spots when changing lanes.
- Forward Collision Warning with Pedestrian Detection: Anticipates accidents and alerts drivers of potential hazards from human traffic.
- Lane Keeping Assist: Appropriately aligns the vehicle when hot temperatures can be a distraction that might cause the SUV to drift.
AcuraWatch 360+ is exclusive to the 2024 ZDX Type S and includes additional top tech features for summer explorers. Features include Hands-Free driving and Automatic Parking Assist for crammed parking areas at summer destinations.
