The 2024 Acura TLX Sport Sedan unveils notable updates for refined engine performance, in-car technology and well-secured driving experience.
Acura has introduced new standard safety features for drivers and passengers to remain protected in a wider range of accidents. Car buyers also have access to the Acura Maintenance Package—a free TLX maintenance plan for the first two years or 24,000 miles upon purchase.
"The new 2024 Acura TLX has reached new heights, demonstrating our commitment to advancing Precision Crafted Performance throughout the Acura lineup. Acura continues to deliver exciting premium products for people who love to drive,” said Emile Korkor, vice president of Acura.
Exterior Enhancements
All 2024 TLX models feature a new front fascia, frameless grille, downturned hood and Acura logo as part of an all-new exterior design.
TLX’s athletic character is displayed by four quad-element headlamps and LED daytime running lights. A-Spec and Type S variants are available in Urban Gray Pearl colors. The Liquid Carbon Metallic is exclusive to the TLX with Technology Package.
The A-Spec package enhances the TLX’s sporty appeal with bold 19-inch wheels, dual round exhaust tips and a racy gloss-black rear spoiler.
Drivers seeking maximum handling and performance from the Type S Turbo V6 engine can opt for all-season tires and lightweight 20-inch wheels. An open-surface grille mesh directs cool air to the radiator and engine to avoid overheating risks.
More Standard Technology
Entry-level tech amenities include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Amazon Alexa Built-in, a wireless charging pad and two new USB ports for backseat occupants.
Optional features include a high-resolution surround view camera and configurable 10.5-inch Head Up Display with on-screen modes for vehicle speed, navigation and Traffic Sign Recognition.
The TLX’s Interior heralds the arrival of Acura's groundbreaking 12.3-inch Precision Cockpit Digital Instrument Cluster. The center display comes with a 20 percent increase in size and five times faster processing speed than its predecessor.
A larger screen improves driving experience by providing a clear and commanding view of navigation, entertainment and vehicle information.
The interface for the 2024 Type S incorporates a new Sport+ driving meter design. The display adds a large tachometer, boost gauge and g-meter which provides real-time acceleration, braking and cornering speed data.
Acura’s A-Spec model benefits from acoustic glass front doors, wheel and door insulators, thick carpeting and Active Control system for a serene cabin environment.
Extensive Safety Features
Acura’s 2024 TLX premieres a suite of advanced safety technology, including a front-single lens sensor camera and 360-degree grille-mounted radar of the vehicle’s surroundings.
The broad view gives the sedan an unobstructed view of bicycles, pedestrians and road boundaries including white lines or curbs. A rear blind spot radar warning range of 82 feet enables the Lane Change Alert system to detect and alert the driver of approaching vehicles in adjacent lanes.
All 2024 TLX models feature a standard rear seatbelt reminder system, ensuring passengers are buckled for safety. Visible and audible alerts inform the driver when occupants have secured or unfastened their seatbelts.
