The 2022 Acura RDX adds comfort and styling to those autumn adventures by delivering dynamic handling on mountain roads, a multi-functional cabin space and cutting-edge onboard technology.
An Active Sound Control system, front fender liner and lower torque rod minimize vibrations as well as outside noise on highway driving. Other optional upgrades enhance cabin tranquility with soundproof doors, acoustic glass and insulated carpet padding throughout the vehicle.
Under the Hood
Powering the 2022 RDX is a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and synced either to a front or all-wheel drive.
Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system uses torque vectoring to shift torque to where it is required the most. This enhanced performance improves handling on slick roads and helps navigate through sharp corners.
The front-wheel drive RDX earns an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway,
Comfort and Convenience
The RDX seats five people on synthetic leather upholstery, resistant to spills and stains. The 12-way power adjustable seats provide vantage-point comfort and help drivers avoid body fatigue on long journeys.
