Acura Sports Sedans Deliver Performance With Style

Acura’s sporty sedan lineup–the TLX and ILX–delivers exceptional performance with impressive power, quick-shifting transmission and fuel economy.

Acura TLX

A 272-hp turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is synced to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Acura’s all-wheel-drive system transfers power to the front wheels for improved wheel traction.

The TLX features a 10.2-inch infotainment system controlled via steering-wheel buttons and a touchpad on the center console. The infotainment system integrates with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other features include a customizable IconicDrive, ambient LED cabin lighting, dual-zone climate control, on-board Wi-Fi hotspot, a 13-speaker premium audio system and a wireless charging pad. The TLX also offers heated front and rear seats and ventilated front seats.

Acura ILX

The Acura ILX is powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine which generates 201 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. It is mated with an eight-speed dual clutch automatic transmission for precise on-road control.

This luxury sedan is equipped with a dual-screen Multi-Use Display interface with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 7-inch touchscreen has a capacitive display that improves responsiveness by 30% compared to the previous generation of ILX.

Other standard features found inside the ILX includes a power moonroof, smart entry & push-button start and a 10-speaker audio system.

Both vehicles come with the AcuraWatch suite of active safety and driver-assistive technologies. Features include automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

Acura’s latest TLX model earned the highest possible safety rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in all crashworthiness tests and a “Superior” rating for Collision Mitigation Braking System.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2022 ILX its highest safety rating of five stars.

Both sport sedans feature next generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering—a car body structure that increases occupant protection in frontal collisions.
