Acura's 2024 Integra Type S combines sleek exterior design and comfortable seating with an array of safety and security bundles.
The premium performance car adds a redesigned front fascia, more prominent grille, broad body fenders, lightweight 19-inch wheels and three sizable center-mounted exhaust pipes.
Under the Hood
Acura’s base version of Integra Type S offers a turbocharged 1.5-liter with 200 hp and 192 Ib-ft of torque. Equipped on the sporty Type S is a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine with 320 hp and 310 torque output.
Both trims come with front-wheel drive and continuously variable automatic transmission or six-speed manual options.
Adaptive Damper System is offered as standard equipment, and it uses several sensors as a barometer for different road conditions. ADS on the Integra Type S has three distinct modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. In Comfort mode, softened dampers provide fuel efficiency when cruising on the highway.
With Sport mode, stiffened dampers reduce body rolls around corners. In Sport+ mode, optimized dampers offer reliable handling on difficult road surfaces.
Comfort and Convenience
A class-exclusive 5-door liftback design allows the Type S to provide sedan-style passenger space and seat five people. It offers 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space which can be increased with rear seats folded down.
Standard in-cabin offerings include a 7.0-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth and a 16-speaker ELS audio sound system.
Optional spec packages offer a 9-inch touchscreen, Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging, three additional USB ports and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Accessible is also a digital key that allows drivers to lock, unlock and start the Type S with a smartphone.
