The 2025 MDX gets stylish updates, significant technology upgrades and debuts a cutting-edge AcuraWatch 360 system with interactive technology.
New Premium Trims
The 2025 lineup welcomes the MDX A-Spec with Advance Package. Its sporty aesthetics combine with in-cabin conveniences like 16-way power front seats, heated second-row seats, a Head-Up Display and Surround View Camera system.
Type S is equipped with the advanced AcuraWatch 360 suite of driver-assistance technologies.
Acura’s latest generation uses a high-resolution front camera and millimeter wave radar to improve data accuracy in the vehicle's environment.
Styling Enhancements
The 2025 MDX gets a complete front-end makeover. It showcases a redesigned front fascia and open-frame Diamond Pentagon grille, accented by an all-new angled mesh pattern.
MDX A-Spec caters to driving enthusiasts. It is also fitted with a reworked front fascia that accentuates the Diamond Pentagon grille and updated mesh frame. All black exterior accents embolden the vehicle’s on-road presence.
Type S prioritizes performance with a remodeled open-surface mesh grille integrated into an aerodynamic design that maximizes airflow for the turbocharged V6 engine.
Other additions are Berlina Black 21-inch split spoke wheels, rear diffuser, large quad exhaust outlets and red Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers.
The 2025 MDX lineup expands its available exterior color palette with Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pear options.
Standard Tech Upgrade
A new user-friendly center console featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen replaces the previous touchpad system. Console creates extra storage space for an easy-to-reach wireless charging pad.
Acura’s suite of connectivity options including Google Built-in and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is available on higher trims.
Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound
The MDX with Technology Package, Advance Package and A-Spec models get 19-speakers and 1,475 watts of power.
Premium setup has 16 channels with Acoustic Lens Tweeters and four speakers in the headliner. A high-end option is the Type S with Advance Package. The main features include 31 speakers, 1,760 watts and 24 channels with Acoustic Lens Tweeters.
The dozen speakers located in the cabin ceiling create an immersive concert hall atmosphere for occupants. Both Bang & Olufsen systems also debut 3D Sound Control and Acoustic Lens Technology.
Hush Cabin
Acura engineers have prioritized a serene cabin experience with a series of sound insulation modifications.
The adjustments include front and rear fender liner reinforcements to reduce vibrations and road noise. Laminated glass with plastic underlayers also diminish wind transmissions filtering through the windows.
Enhancements are estimated to achieve a 10% improvement of intrusions into the cabin from the previous model. The amendments are exclusive on Technology Package, Advance Package and A-Spec trims.
Safety & Driver-Assistance Features Upgrades
New AcuraWatch 360 suite of advanced safety and driver-assistance technologies debuts on the Type S with Advance Package.
AcuraWatch 360 system uses new technology to improve the effectiveness of Active Lane Change Assist, Lane Change Collision Mitigation and Front Cross Traffic Warning features.
The Type S Advance Package also adds a steering wheel touch sensor designed to simplify driver interaction with the vehicle’s safety technologies.
